Tenuta Chiaramonte: Sicilian Olive Oil

A project, a dream and passion: these are the three essential elements from which Tenuta Chiaramonte comes to life. Giovanni Chiaramonte started organic farming in Ragusa, with 15,000 olive trees and a factoy which is perfectly integrated in the natural Sicilian environment.
Tenuta Chiaramonte is a modern oil mill with strong links to family traditions. The olives, according to ancient Sicilian tradition, are hand-picked before they are fully ripe on the tree, to maintain the original bouquet. After being selected by hand, they are cold pressed within 12 hours of harvesting.
The oils are enclosed in bottles characterized by very special artistic labels, which show the typical Ragusa Baroque masks.

Centumbrie: Olive Oil from Umbria

The Centumbrie company is the story of two families who decided to create an entire Km 0 supply chain made up of a state-of-the-art oil mill. Close to Perugia, Michele Cinaglia invested in land, woods and olive groves on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. The olive groves are located in the hills, the land is worked organically contributing to the sustainability of the area. In fact, waste from olive processing becomes fuel for heating the facilities.
The olives are harvested when they are fully ripe in order to have a soft, round oil. Centumbrie olive oil has strong character with a balsamic note and an intense spicines.
